Every four years, the Saskatoon Chamber engages in the provincial revaluation consultation, addressing potential changes to the percentages of value (POV) for the upcoming cycle. In these consultations, we always take the opportunity to address structural concerns with Saskatchewan's property tax model and advocate for provincial changes.

Reports have confirmed TSS is shipping tires outside SK. We have proposed a 50% reduction in the Tire Recycling Fee until all processing is done within SK. Consumers should not be have to pay for a gov-sponsored product or service for which they are receiving no benefit.
