The Competition Bureau has initiated a comprehensive market study to evaluate competition in Canada’s passenger air travel services. As part of this process, the Saskatoon Chamber recently engaged with the Bureau to discuss the unique challenges faced by midsized and smaller markets, particularly the critical need for strong air connectivity to Saskatoon.

The Saskatoon Chamber's policy resolution, titled "Connecting Canada: Improving Air Connectivity for Mid-Sized Airports," successfully passed with enthusiastic support at the Canadian Chamber Conference, with a few small amendments made to tighten the scope of the resolution.
