In advance of the release of the 2024-2025 Provincial Budget, the Saskatoon Chamber is encouraging the province to “Think Small.” That is, we are recommending a series of measures that will bolster our SME economy. These six recommendations draw from proposals the Chamber has put forward over this past year:

1. New SME Investment Tax Credit
2. Freeze the Small Business Corporate Tax Rate at 1%
3. Provincial Property Tax Reform
4. Small Business Rebate for Impacts of Property Damage, and Petty Crime
5. Made in Saskatchewan “Fund of Funds”
6. PST on New Construction Projects

We believe the measures above would contribute significantly to the economic prosperity of Saskatchewan and advance the government’s Growth Plan.
