The Chamber’s Return on Investment (ROI) Pledge was developed to ensure that City Hall delivers measurable value for every tax dollar spent. It called for Council to Refocus Saskatoon’s role, Operate with excellence, and Invest in tomorrow, principles that many councillors publicly endorsed during the 2024 civic election.
 

As we approach the 2026/27 budget deliberations, the Chamber will be launching a campaign focused on the facts, highlighting where our city and economy stand today, how civic spending and priorities have evolved, and what trends are shaping this year’s decisions. Guided by the principles of the ROI Pledge, our approach emphasizes fiscal discipline, performance-driven outcomes, and long-term value for both residents and businesses.
