Council Takes First Steps Toward Budget Reductions

Startup Week is in full swing, and it’s been great to see the strong turnout at events across the city. There’s a noticeable level of engagement and collaboration happening this week—whether it’s founders sharing ideas, investors asking good questions, or partners exploring ways to support new ventures.
A special thank you to the other member organizations helping make Startup Week possible: Saskatchewan Startup Institute, SREDA, Opus, Ethical Digital, FEAD, Food Centre Inc., SIIT, Wie Grow and Startup TNT. This collaborative effort is helping put a spotlight on the innovation and entrepreneurship happening right here in our community.
The Chamber is proud to be part of the week’s programming. Tomorrow, we’re hosting Backing Local Innovation: The State of Saskatoon Startup Investing. This event will explore the current landscape of startup investment in our province, including the work being done to grow strong companies, the ongoing barriers to capital, and the latest stats on local fundraising activity.
If you're interested in the future of Saskatoon's innovation economy, this is a conversation worth joining.
We hope to see you there.
