Budget Day is just around the corner and there will be announcements that affect your business. Your Chamber will be watching and hoping to see movement on one or more of these priorities:

• Act on Saskatoon Chamber’s SME Investment Tax Credit proposal
• Freeze small business corporate tax rate
• Remove fitness/gym memberships and ticketed events from last year’s PST expansion
• Invest in measures that increase and ease the flow of skilled New Canadians
• Commit to incentives for SMEs to hire and train Indigenous workers
• Target funding to cities to off-set commercial property tax increases
• Invest in Saskatoon’s downtown revitalization and event facilities
