The Competition Bureau has initiated a comprehensive market study to evaluate competition in Canada’s passenger air travel services. As part of this process, the Saskatoon Chamber recently engaged with the Bureau to discuss the unique challenges faced by midsized and smaller markets, particularly the critical need for strong air connectivity to Saskatoon. During the discussion, we emphasized how essential reliable and affordable air travel is to the economic vitality and growth of our region. Our comments will be included in the public record as part of the final study, contributing to the broader understanding of how competition impacts communities like ours.
