Sept 29 PowerHouse Lunch to address big questions around Ai
The Chamber is hosting a panel of leaders from telecom, tech, academia, and public policy for a candid look at what AI and quantum computing mean for our city and province: the data centre boom, the energy demands, the talent race, and the policy choices that will determine whether Saskatoon and Saskatchewan lead or lag.
“It’s time for a thoughtful discussion on data centres and Ai infrastructure that throws more light on the subject, rather than just heat,” explains Jason Aebig, CEO of the Chamber. “There are legitimate concerns around the impact and influence of Ai technology on our lives, businesses and our communities, and those need to be addressed. But the current discussion has been hijacked by myths and misinformation aimed at confusing the public and limiting the conversation. We want to make sure our businesses have the facts and can leverage Ai infrastructure to lead, grow and win the future.”
According to the Chamber, the panel will focus on building the infrastructure of tomorrow and whether Saskatoon and Saskatchewan are ready to leverage its potential. Click here for more information or to register.
