Changes to The Workers’ Compensation Act

The province is asking for feedback on 12 potential changes to the Act. If Workers’ Compensation is something that is actively considered in your business or organization, we need to hear from you. Taxing Professionals and Professional Corporations

While discussing the potential of introducing a new Saskatchewan Revenue Agency, the province has hinted at the possibility of treating professionals’ corporate taxes differently to allow passive income during maternity leave and addressing issues related to Tax on Split Income. If interested, email chamber@saskatoonchamber.com and we’ll set the date/time for the meeting and provide background information.
