What specific strengths and sector knowledge can you contribute as a board director: I am co-founder of a Certified Indigenous and Woman-owned occupational health and safety company providing consultancy, training, and services focused on the mining industry. We mitigate labour challenges and foster economic participation of diverse populations in non-traditional roles
My Favourite Thing About Saskatoon is: Raised in Laronge and an electrician prior to entrepreneurship, I recognize the vast opportunities Saskatoon offers now and in the future for small businesses and for our elite-level hockey-playing daughters. The diversity of the population, landscape, events and cultural offerings offers fulfillment!
Why the Chamber Board? Small businesses will play a pivotal role in the coming years, especially in 2023 in Saskatoon. However, demands on their owner/operators! time results in underrepresentation within the Chamber!s membership and Board. I!d strive to be their advocate, providing valuable insight into their challenges.

What specific strengths and sector knowledge can you contribute as a board director: Eager to jump into diverse opportunities or challenges and add value; strong project management background; 17+ years’ experience in construction; friendly, not afraid to ask questions, make a cold call, assist where needed and is hands-on.
My Favourite Thing About Saskatoon is: Saskatoon is a vibrant, growing and thriving community where; people root for each other, by supporting local businesses, sports teams, and turning up for community events. Saskatoon offers the best of both small and big city life which affords opportunities for families and businesses to thrive.
Why the Chamber Board? I have observed first hand the commitment, proactive engagement, application of sector knowledge & experience to best serve Saskatoon businesses & the community at large. Current and previous roles on other boards of directors: Currently School Board Trustee, (PSSD); Prairie Spirit School Division since 2014/15. I have served on several working committees during this time, including Finance, Negotiations, Learning, Hiring, and Transportation. In the past eight years, I have attended numerous AGMs, public sector meetings, and other conferences. I have served on the Montgomery Preschool Co-op Board, managed, and treasured numerous seasons as a hockey parent. During my tenure as Treasurer, I also served on the Executive of Clavet Minor Hockey. Prior to my role as Trustee, I was an SCC member in my kid’s school.
What specific strengths and sector knowledge can you contribute as a board director: Leadership experience, Business Admin Diploma, Healthcare Admin Certificate, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (R.N.) Business owner since 2009.
My Favourite Thing About Saskatoon is: Beautiful, scenic, medium size, great place to raise a family.
Why the Chamber Board? I am entrepreneurial and I believe a strong business community is central to the success and life of a city community. A flourishing city requires a healthy, strong business sector.

What specific strengths and sector knowledge can you contribute as a board director: The two main strengths that I bring are my financial acumen and my ability to come prepared to participate in discussions by researching and reading background materials prior to attending meetings, sessions, committees.
My Favourite Thing About Saskatoon is: My favorite thing about Saskatoon is its collaborative creative spirit that allows for business growth as it relates to authentic art, local culture, and culinary expression.
Why the Chamber Board? The Chamber provides a community of local resources which can provide advice, advocacy, awareness, referrals, and can be a good sounding board. All of this will support the continued economic potential and growth of Saskatoon.

My Favourite Thing About Saskatoon is: Touring our US business partners from California, Arizona and Texas around Saskatoon when they come visit (in the summer). They always comment that Saskatoon is one of the nicest cities they have ever been to and validate how fortunate we are to have such a great community to live, work and play in!
Why the Chamber Board? We have a privately-held development company that has expanded successfully into many markets in North America. Given our exposure to a lot of different things, we see both where Saskatoon shines and where we have room for improvement. I want to continue to help foster that improvement in Saskatoon!
