GREATER SASKATOON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNOUNCES 2020/21 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

SASKATOON, SK – May 15, 2020 – The Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the results of its 2020/21 Board of Directors election. An impressive slate of thirteen strong candidates coming from diverse industry backgrounds let their name stand for election, and the following six individuals were deemed successful following a final count of electronic ballots received from Chamber member representatives for a two-year term:

Heather Ryan – Federated Co-operative Limited (FCL)

Joseph Gill – McKercher LLP

Tara McKeown – Conexus Credit Union  

Tanis Taylor – CCA Consulting

 

Elected for a second term:

Graham Snell – CFS

Colton Wiegers – Wiegers Financial & Benefits

 

 

In addition to the six successful candidates named above, a number of existing Board members will be entering the second year of their two-year term, including:

Carla Browne – Real Canadian Property Management Professionals Inc.

Jason Aebig – Creative Fire

CeCe Baptiste – Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technology (SIIT)

Sandra Ribeiro – Canadian Light Source

Penny Yeager – MLT Aikins LLP

Todd Denzin – Nutrien

Katrina German – KatrinaGerman.com

 

This will be the Past Chair’s last year:

Chris Sicotte – AON Reed Stenhouse Inc

 

The 2020/21 Board executive will be comprised of:

Carla Browne – Real Canadian Property Management Professionals Inc. (Chair)

Jason Aebig – Creative Fire (First Vice-Chair)

Graham Snell – CFS (Second Vice-Chair)

Chris Sicotte – AON Reed Stenhouse Inc. (Past-Chair)

 

On behalf of the Board of Directors I would like to extend congratulations to our new Board members as well as to our re-elected Directors. I would also like to personally thank all those who put forward their name for election to our Board. This year we had 13 candidates for 6 Board positions, which speaks not only to the interest in being part of the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, but also that we are resonating with the business community. I look forward to working with you all as the incoming Chair for 2020-2021.
